My Process as a UGC Creator & Influencer

If there’s one thing I’ve learned after years in digital marketing and content creation, it’s this: the best-performing content doesn’t feel like marketing. It feels real, natural, and effortless like something you’d actually stop scrolling for.
As a UGC creator and influencer, my process is built around that idea. Every piece of content I create is intentional, but never forced. It’s a balance of strategy, storytelling, and aesthetics, all working together to deliver content that not only looks good but performs.
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how I bring brand collaborations to life.
1. Understanding the Brand
Every project starts with research.
Before I ever pick up a camera, I take time to understand the brand: its voice, audience, and positioning. I look at how the brand currently shows up online, what type of content they’re already creating, and where there’s an opportunity to elevate or differentiate.
This step is key because strong content isn’t just visually appealing; it aligns seamlessly with the brand’s identity while still feeling native to my style.
2. Concept Development
Once I understand the brand, I move into concepting.
This is where I map out how the product or experience will naturally fit into my everyday life. My content is rooted in real routines, morning coffee, quick errands, at-home moments, or local outings, so the goal is always to integrate the brand in a way that feels organic.
Depending on the collaboration, this could look like:
A morning routine featuring a product
A coffee or kitchen moment with subtle product placement
A lifestyle “in-use” scenario that feels candid and relatable
A more structured, story-driven reel with a clear beginning, middle, and end
I always prioritize ideas that feel like a genuine recommendation, not an ad.
3. Pre-Production & Planning
Before filming, I plan out the details that elevate the final result.
This includes:
Shot lists and angles
Lighting (natural light is always my go-to)
Location (at home or on-site depending on the brand)
Styling and props to match the brand’s aesthetic
Because my content leans into a clean, elevated, lifestyle look, I focus heavily on textures, movement, and composition. Even the smallest details, like how coffee is poured or how a product is placed, make a difference.
4. Filming the Content
When it comes to filming, I keep things fluid.
While I go in with a plan, I also leave room for natural moments. Some of the best clips come from unscripted movement: pouring, reaching, walking, or interacting with a product in real time.
I focus on capturing:
Close-up detail shots
Movement-based clips
Lifestyle angles that feel immersive
Natural lighting that enhances the overall tone
The goal is always to create content that feels easy to watch and visually cohesive.
5. Editing & Optimization
Editing is where everything comes together.
I keep my editing style clean and intentional, nothing overly heavy or distracting. The focus is on:
Smooth transitions
Natural color tones
Pacing that keeps viewers engaged
Subtle text overlays when needed
Because of my background in digital marketing, I’m always thinking about performance. That means creating strong hooks, keeping videos concise, and ensuring the content is optimized for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
6. Delivery & Collaboration
Once the content is finalized, I deliver high-quality assets that brands can use across their own platforms.
Depending on the partnership, this can include:
UGC content for brand use (ads, website, social)
Influencer posts shared on my platforms
Multiple variations or formats for testing and performance
I’m also always open to feedback and revisions to make sure the final content aligns perfectly with the brand’s vision.
7. Why This Process Works
At the end of the day, my process is designed to create content that feels authentic, but is backed by strategy.
I don’t just focus on what looks good. I focus on what works.
With a background in digital marketing and a strong understanding of audience behavior, I approach every piece of content with both aesthetics and performance in mind. That combination is what allows brands to not only get beautiful content—but content that actually converts.
Let’s Create Something That Feels Real
If you’re a brand looking for content that blends seamlessly into real life while still standing out, I’d love to collaborate.
Because the best content doesn’t feel like an ad; it feels like a recommendation you trust.
